SERVICES

R. E. D. E. E. M.

  • Reentry- Serving and supporting the children and family of justice-involved, reentering female citizens.

    These services are  developed to offer tools to justice-involved female individuals to increase their confidence, understand, and expand their skills, think beyond the jail walls, and feel like members of society, deserving employment

 

  • Environmental Stability (Prevention of homelessness/rehousing)
  • Domestic Violence Survivorship
  • Earth Cultivation (Community Gardens)
  • Economic Mindfulness (Financial Wellness)

  • Mentorship (Ages 8-18) T.R.Y.B.E.

    T.R.Y.B.E.  (Together Reaching Youth for Better Environments) focuses on providing the youth with services, resources, and referrals that support their mental & social emotional health, and courses that help guide them to achieve workforce building for strong, successful life skills. We believe providing these tools will foster their growth as leaders individually, contributing fully to the vibrancy of the environment and community.

 

 

Through the programs of OHLC (One Harvest Life Center) our goal is to provide services that foster:

 

Family Reunification        

  • Comprehensive programs that identify the strengths and deficiencies of clients and their families      
  • Increase skills to function as a unit

       

  • Guidance to help encouragement      
  • Spiritual counseling through faith-based mentors/ professional life coaches (we appreciate and support ALL faiths)

Employment      

Training/ Coaching sessions for:

  • Resume’ creation    
  • Interviewing skills    
  • Workplace ethics    
  • Interpersonal skills      
  • Communication skills      
  • Conflict/Resolution    
  • Time Management

Education

  • Partnering with agencies such as Community and Vocational colleges to offer GED/vocational training
  • Support groups for behavior/addiction issues
  • Financial education

Housing        

  • Assist with locating stable living environments through referrals to shelters, transitional housing, property owners, and housing authorities

IMPACT

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Without employment, stable housing, and support- this can cost communities millions of dollars in health care expenses, criminal justice expenses, homelessness, un/underemployment, not to mention the long-term effects of trauma and toxic stress. Keeping the highest-at-risk women, underserved, and marginalized populations from falling through the cracks benefits the economy, and the quality of life in a community, but most importantly, our youth who have already been through trauma and turmoil. One Harvest has been developed to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness before it starts. Rather than being a strain on resources, individuals and families completing the programs through One Harvest will be provided with the tools to be independent contributors to their community and investing in the wealth of generations to come.

We are committed to seeing our community proactively construct a vision of multi-generational wealth (grandchildren’s grandchildren) that teaches positive impact for:
